PELATIHAN MENULIS DAN MEMPERAGAKAN DONGENG HASIL KREASI ORANG TUA DALAM RANGKA MEMBENTUK KARAKTER ANAK

Abstract

The formation of one's character is best believed when a person is still in childhood. Character formation can be done directly by applying discipline to children or indirectly through moral messages conveyed by parents. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training to parents in conveying moral messages in the form of fairy tales. Storytelling is usually done at a certain time that is considered the most appropriate, for example before bedtime. In this training, parents are trained to create their own simple fairy tales from character introduction, problem or conflict introduction, climax of a problem to problem solving. Parents are trained to convey moral messages either indirectly or directly. In this training, the participants, consisting of parents in Kuwasen Rejo, Gunungpati District, Semarang City, succeeded in making their own original stories to tell their children.
