SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN MAHASISWA PENERIMA BEASISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE SAW (SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING)

Abstract

Scholarships are a program that is available in every educational institution. The scholarship program is held to ease the burden of students in pursuing a period of study, especially in terms of costs, which are conducted selectively according to the type of scholarship offered. One of them is in the form of PPA scholarships. To get a scholarship, this requires criteria to determine who will be selected for the scholarship recipient. To get the scholarship, it must be in accordance with the established rules. Therefore, not all who register as prospective recipients of the scholarship will be accepted, only those who meet the criteria will receive the scholarship. But often the distribution of these scholarships is not right on target. This is due to the fact that scholarships have not yet been used with the tools or methods used to determine the scholarship recipients. For this reason, a decision support system for determining scholarship recipients was designed method using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The SAW method used to rank from existing alternatives. This web-based application that is used is PHP, CSS and MySQL for media storage / databases on web pages. The results of this studycan finishproblemsduring the selectionscholarshipand of courseusing this system,later do not have to bother anymore to do therecording manually because of this system that can make it easier to get the results of outstanding student scholarships.
