PELATIHAN PEMANFAATAN TANAMAN OBAT KELUARGA SEBAGAI JAMU KEKINIAN DI DESA SIJERUK KABUPATEN PEKALONGAN

Abstract

Most of the people in Sijeruk Village, Sragi District, Pekalongan Regency have yards or gardens
that are partly planted with family medicinal plants (TOGA) such as; turmeric, temulawak,
temugiring, ginger, kencur, betel, kecombrang, sambiloto, binahong, and others. The main
obstacles faced are the not optimal use of family medicinal plants (TOGA), low knowledge and
technology to make quality contemporary herbal medicine, the quantity produced is still limited, the
types and variations of products are also still small and the market share is still low. This factor
makes the herbal medicine industry in traditional not biased to develop. The purpose of Community
Service (PKM) is to develop a contemporary herbal medicine business for PKK mothers in Sijeruk
village in order to help increase community income. The goal: 1. To develop and improve the
traditional herbal medicine business into a modern contemporary herbal medicine that can raise
one of the products of hereditary ancestral heritage. By means of processing the stages of
manufacturing the product correctly. 2. Educating pkk mothers to actively develop profitable
businesses and have very open opportunities.
