PEMBERDAYAAN UMKM SABUN SUSU PADA KUBBB SEGAR ARUM DI BOYOLALI

Abstract

UMKM Empowerment is implemented as a form of implementation of the Community Partnership Program (PKM). The PKM aims to developing the productivity of community that are part of the Segar Arum  Business Group (KUBBB) in the Denggungan Village, Banyudono District, Boyolali Regency. Some of the problems faced by PKM partners are first, partners have not been able to carry out an effective and efficient production process. Second, partner's knowledge and skills in understanding the quality standards of beauty soap products are still low. Third, lack of understanding related to marketing strategies. Fourth, the weak utilization of information technology in the marketing efforts of partner soap products. PKM team will be given several solutions in this empowerment activity. The problems were solved by the introduction and transfer of appropriate technology of TJ-18 soap stamping machine, a series of training and counseling, and website design. The PKM target was achieved by a 40% increasing the production capacity and quality of milk soap. Increased the understanding of marketing strategies by 100% related to segmentation, target markets, product positioning and product promotion towards global markets, and halal product sertification proceess, 100% utilization of updated information technology, increased understanding of soap quality by 100 percent compared to before training and counseling. This program will be monitored and evaluated at the end of the year and then re-programmed with more intensive assistance, through the science and technology program for regional superior products.
