PELATIHAN PEMEROLEHAN INFORMASI MELALUI INTERNET DALAM PEMBUATAN KERAJINAN BAGI PPDI (PERKUMPULAN PENYANDANG DISABILITAS INDONESIA) KOTA PEKALONGAN

Abstract

People with disabilities in Pekalongan City are people who are marginalized in terms of social, social, economic and technological aspects. The skill of making handicrafts made from patchwork waste is one of the activities that can fill your spare time. Handicraft products can be used as a way to start an independent business. In Pekalongan there are many convection businesses that have a lot of patchwork waste, so for the raw material for making handicrafts there is already a convection party that provides patchwork waste for use. In the long term, the skill of making handicrafts with basic materials from patchwork waste is expected to improve the level of family welfare. In the implementation of community service activities carried out in the form of training to obtain information on the manufacture of patchwork handicraft products for Pekalongan City administrators and members of PPDI (Indonesian Association of Persons with Disabilities). The training provided is training in basic techniques for using the internet to obtain general information. Then information search training using a search engine about making handicrafts in the form of text, documents and images. Training using video sharing websites to find videos on craft making.
