Abstract

Embroidering is a cultural heritage that can elevate the degree of women to become independent. The problem faced by housewives in general is how to spend free time to improve the creativity of skills that can bring additional income. The purpose of ribbon embroidery training is to foster new entrepreneurs, and create jobs for the local residents. The solutions offered in community service are some basic types of embroidery techniques are started from making a drawing model with a number of techniques, introducing various kinds of embroidery stitches, embroidering on several types of media, and how to do embroidery using various sizes of ribbons. The implementation of this activity has a link between opportunity, effort, and results that must be trained to be more skilled in both knowledge and skills so as to create opportunities for earning income. Furthermore, through ribbon embroidery training this can lead to a creative economy. and is expected to support a region's tourist destinations. Participation of partners with the community service team, partners played an active role in supporting ribbon embroidery skills training
