PENGGUNAAN PIRANTI LUNAK BATIK FRAKTAL TINGKAT DASAR UNTUK MELATIH DESAIN MOTIF BATIK BAGI IKM KLASTER BATIK SEMARANG

Abstract

Batik motif design is one of the activities in making batik, both for written batik, stamp and printing. In designing batik motifs, there is a lot that can be done by digging into the imagination and by symbolizing several objects which are then translated in the form of a text line on a piece of batik cloth. Interestingly a batik depends on the design of the resulting motif so that it is liked by customers. Expertise in motif design will also affect the selling value of a batik. The motif can describe and characterize the origin of a batik with its local characteristics. The method of designing batik with the help of a computer with a fractal concept has been developed, but combined with other software to minimize design monotonity, several design patterns are needed to form the overall design of batik motifs so that batik becomes a unique work that is not only suitable for material wear but also can radiate the uniqueness of the owner. The importance of batif motif design is the strength of batik craftsmen, so the need for the use of all devices that can explore batik motifs to be taught to craftsmen. To explore imagination and design by providing training in making batik designs using fractal batik software.
