Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of job characteristics and competence on organizational commitment and job satisfaction as mediation among members of the Directorate of Criminal Police in the Central Java Regional Police. To test the hypothesis, this study uses quantitative research. Job characteristics and competencies are independent variables. Organizational commitment is the dependent variable. While job satisfaction is a moderating variable. The results showed that there was a significant influence between job characteristics and competencies on organizational commitment and job satisfaction of consumers moderating the influence of job characteristics and competencies on organizational commitment of Ditreskrimsus members of the Central Java Regional Police.
