CHRISTIAN GREY’S SEXUAL DISORDER IN E.L JAMES FIFTY SHADES OF DARKER

Abstract

This study will discuss about sexual disorder that is experienced by Christian Grey in E.L James Fifty Shades of Darker. This study tells about abuse, sexual harassment and sexual disorder that is experienced by Christian Grey. This will also tell how Christian Grey deal with his condition. This study aims to provide three points; the causes of his sexual disorder, the effect of his sexual disorder and the symptoms of abusive that happen in Christian Grey. This study uses the psychological approach of literature as it helps how to find out Christian Grey is experienced the sexual disorder that happen to him. E.L James Fifty Shades of Darker is used as the source of the data. Some quotations will be added to support the analysis. The qualitative research is applied. The results of the study show that Christian Gray's symptomps that he has a sexual disorder can be proven because he has fetishes, voyeurism and sexual sadism. The trigger factor was due to events in his past that had been a victim of violence and experienced sexual harassment.
