An Analysis of Intrinsic Elements in Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight

This thesis deals with the analysis about the intrinsic elements of Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight. The purposes are to find out how the characters are described, where the settings are, how the plot is run, and what the theme of Twilight is.

Reaching the aim, the writer used the methodological procedure as data collection and selection, first the writer chose the novel by Stephanie Meyer’s Twilight. The writer read the whole of the story several times. Then the writer selected data and took some notes quotations on dialogues.

The result shows that the characters are described as round characters, and Twilight takes the setting of place in Forks, the plot is moving forward, and the theme is about an unordinary and forbidden love between human and vampire.
